Mack Gingles’s paintings and drawings present figurative scenes shaped by intimacy and tension. His work has appeared in institutions including the Museum of Modern Fine Arts in Minsk, Belarus, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Skopje, Macedonia, the Cvijeta Zuzoric in Belgrade, Serbia, the Czong Institute for Contemporary Art Museum in Gimpo si, South Korea, and Pärnu, Estonia. His work was also selected for the London Celeste Prize and featured in the circulated publication New American Paintings. His most recent solo exhibition, By a Thread, was presented at the University of Kentucky’s Bolivar Gallery. He lives in Robinson, Texas, where he maintains a studio and teaches at Baylor University.
