MACK GINGLES was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, and encouraged from the start to become an artist by a family of artists. His narrative paintings have been selected for more than 80 group exhibitions in the United States and abroad by notable curators, artists, art critics, and other professionals, including the M P Birla Millennium Art Gallery (London, ENG), the Czong Institute for Contemporary Art Museum (Gimpo-si, KOR), the Cvijeta Zuzoric in (Belgrade, SRB), the Bargehouse (London, ENG), the Museum of Modern Fine Arts (Minsk, BLR) and the Museum of Contemporary Art (Skopje, MKD). More recently his solo exhibition: By a Thread was on view at R1 University of Kentucky in Lexington. Gingles lives in Robinson, Texas where he is an Associate Professor of Art at Baylor University.
